Custody Facilitation

Custody facilitation is recommended when it is apparent that a high conflict family will need someone to assist the parties to implement a court’s judgment.  This may be requested by the parties or ordered by the court and cost shared equally between parties.  After a custody plan is ordered, lifestyles change as needs of toddlers vary significantly from the needs of teenagers. Therefore, adjustments need to be made which are more accommodating to the parents and in the best interest of the child.

Terri utilizes the skills of a mediator while acting as an arbitrator, aiding parents or caregivers in resolving issues over which parties have reached and impasse. She implements the court ordered parenting plan in a way that reduces interparental conflict and ensures that both parents maintain ongoing relationships with the children without conflict, therefore eliminating the need for repeated litigation.
