Formally of Monroe, Louisiana, has resided in the New Orleans Metropolitan area since 1989. She attended Northeast Louisiana University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice in 1985. Terri was employed as an administrative assistant with the Ouachita Parish District Attorneys office and was assigned to the Metro Narcotic Unit for several years prior to relocating to New Orleans in 1989. While attending Tulane University Law School, Terri clerked for the US Attorneys office in New Orleans. She was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 1992. She was a sole practitioner practicing general civil law for several years before becoming a partner of the Halpern, Danner, Martin, & Miles Law firm for eight years. In January 2006 Terri open her own law firm in Gretna, Louisiana. Her credentials include: admitted to practice in the US District court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Louisiana; qualified as an advanced Family Law Mediator; qualified to mediate in juvenile court matters; Louisiana Board Certified Family Law Specialist certified by the Louisiana State Bar Board of Legal Specialization.
