Terri M. Miles formerly of Monroe, LA has been a resident of New Orleans since 1989.She attended NortheastLouisianaUniversity in Monroe, LA where she obtained her bachelors degree in Criminal Justice in December of 1985.She
was employed as an administrative assistant with the Ouachita Parish
District Attorneys office and was assigned to the Metro Narcotic Unit
for several years prior to moving to New Orleans in 1989.While attending law school, Terri clerked at the U. S. Attorney’s office in New Orleans, Louisiana.She was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in October 1992.She
was self employed in general civil practice until November of 1993 when
she became a partner of the firm Bowes & Marrero, LLP in Gretna, Louisiana.After
several years in general civil practice with her primary emphasis on
family law, adoptions, personal injury and bankruptcy, she joined the
firm of Halpern, Danner, Martin & Miles, LLC in August 1997. On January 1, 2006, Terri is going out on her own in Gretna, Louisiana. Terri is also admitted to practice in the US District Court for the Eastern District and Middle Districts of Louisiana and is certified in Family Law Mediation.She
has been a certified advanced Family Law Mediator since May of 1998 and
a Board Certified Family Law Specialist as of January 2001.Terri is also a certified Juvenile Court Mediator.Terri’s office is located a block from the Gretna Courthouse.
